The existing facade was rehabbed into a modern farmhouse style. As the home has an urban 'farm' in the backyard and side yard, a nod to their farming lifestyle was provided with the 'hay loft' detailing up at the top of the gable. Modern overhangs provide dimensional relief to the facade.

A 2nd floor was added over the large, two story space to create a bedroom above. A new railing system was designed for this space.

This corner of the house was lacking windows and therefore felt very closed in. The corner was opened up with full height windows and a patio door leading out to the backyard deck.
