Integrated Prairie Garage

The existing home had a single car carport which also was where the entry into the house was located. The owners could only put one car in there and could not securely store anything in the garage.

The new design shifted the entry to the front of the house, enlarged the garage to be for two cars, and added a garage door for security.

The new design shifted the entry to the front of the house, thereby moving it out of the carport area. The existing garage was simply a carport, without a garage door. This prevented them from storing anything in the garage and making the entry to the house a painful experience.

This is the head-on view of new entry to the home and the new enclosed tandem garage. They can now store both cars in the garage, securely store items in the garage, and have guests come into the home in a much better entry sequence.
