We wanted this powder room to feel fresh and lively and connected to nature so we used a palm leaf wallpaper above the wainscoting.

Because the room doesn't have any natural light, we lightened kept the majority of the walls light with a white subway wainscoting.

A round, brass framed mirror helped cut some of the wallpaper and bounce light around the room while the dark porcelain tile floor grounds the space.

In the dining space, we used a large-scale black and white palm frond wallpaper for a touch of whimsy. We added simple black tables and brightly colored chairs for contrast.
