One of our favorite design moments of this project was the art hanging over the bed. The blue custom pillows lined in a row against the seagrass headboard added so much punch, but we were still in need of art to hang over the bed. Since this was a guest bedroom, we brainstormed the idea to take photos around Santa Barbara that meant something to our town. We settled on California Street, Santa Barbara Street, and Mission Street (since the Mission is iconic to SB). The photos were printed at Costco in sepia tones and we framed them in prefab mats and frames from Michael's Craft store and the the effect was so fun! We loved the thought of a guest staying in the room and wanting to know more about where those streets are located in Santa Barbara.
