This 1950s house had Band-Aid colored walls and carpet and was in need of a major refresh. The walls were painted Benjamin Moore's Simply White, French Oak hardwood floors replaced the carpet, and new doors, baseboard and windows were added. In the living room, the original sliding glass door was replaced by a La Cantina accordion style door making not only the living/dining room feel larger but giving a great sense of indoor/outdoor flow. New light fixtures, furniture, accessories and a black and white wallpaper mural of Waikiki circa the 1940s in the living room completed the update for a new, fresh look.
