This project involved an update to a dated kitchen in a South Shore, MA town house alongside a golf course. The clients are both high level professionals who wanted a residence that reflected their tastes and lifestyle. Entertaining at a formal level was a must. The current layout with peninsula and separate large eating area made the kitchen feel small and confined. The client’s family was expanding with grandchildren and they wanted to maximize the square footage of the kitchen to incorporate the now divided areas and create a grander feel to the space. They also wanted to connect the formal living room, dining room and kitchen both visually and aesthetically. They were very selective in their finishes wanting a creative solution to their needs and space, but one that would also be timeless and not too on trend.
