Transitional Updated Kitchen

The homeowner’s designed the original kitchen when building this house 14 years ago. After living with it for some time, they quickly realized some pros and cons and kept a metal list of things they would’ve done differently. When the time came to update the 1st floor living area, the kitchen renovation was critical. We changed the layout within the existing footprint to remove the cook top from island and create a large work surface, full of useful storage. The Taj Majal waterfall counter top is a stunning focal point to open concept living they now have. Using all-white cabinetry we created a dramatic difference from the previous wood veneer and lightened up the entire space. Minor tweaks allowed us to realize the kitchen’s full potential while updating the space to a classic transitional style that flows with the newly renovated first floor.
