South Street Master Bath
Designer Lisa Lally:
While transforming this builder-grade master bathroom; we kept the same overall footprint without expanding into additional space. The removal of partition walls at the shower and toilet area greatly enhanced the openness of the room and allowed light to flood the entire space. Pattern & texture were used thoughtfully in the material selections to allow for a light & airy bath, while creating a fresh aesthetic that is neutral yet anything but boring.
We focused a great deal on overall material selections for this master bath, with selections that felt special and added character while remaining neutral. In order to stick to the client’s firm budget and per their request to use “anything but the typical white subway tile”, an inexpensive large-scale tile was used around most of the bathroom and for that wow factor we splurged on a mosaic floor tile adding unexpected texture and a strong design punch. Adding warm to the space is the new custom stained wood dual vanity with the combination of drawers and open shelving for sleek storage solutions and minimalist aesthetic the client desired.
