High Design Mid-Century Drought Tolerant

Mid century modern style home meets a highly stylized 21st century drought tolerant design. Designed by Landscape Architect, Stacey Isaac. Our client, herself an architect, worked with Isaac to bring in many custom touches to the ultimate outcome we were able to bring to fruition. A huge boulder was carved into a bubbling fountain. Encaustic tiles cover a long, custom bench built in place. An extensive drainage system with unique, Japanese style drainage channels catch excess water under the eaves. Large accent boulders grace the space. A mature olive tree was craned in. A Shelton designed iron gate painted orange brings whimsy to the newly installed masonry wall separating the driveway for a formal entry to the front yard. Mid century style path lights marry the home's architectural style with the landscape.
