This Baltimore City homeowner chose to expand the present home by converting a well-worn glass enclosed porch into a family room and expanded the antiquated kitchen into the present living room. The hallway was dark and closed off by a door. The homeowner opted for an open floor plan by removing the door and offering a more open entry into the family's living area. The result; more natural light, an ability to prepare meals for family and entertain while still spending time together. They even incorporated a mudroom/potting room to aid them in keeping up with the beautiful mature landscape. What a Winner!
