The owners of this Highland Park residence had plenty of space in their master bath, but came to residential architect, Michael Lyons to update and remodel the bath space. Lyons started by designing a new elliptical vault ceiling with mahogany ribs to visually help reduce the length of the master bathroom and create a more intimate, inviting space. Lyons warmed the space through the extensive use of mahogany in the millwork, cabinetry and skirt for whirlpool bath. The wood trim also helped give a more integrated appearance to the wall where the vanity is positioned in newly remodeled bathroom.
