Located with a view of Lake Ray Hubbard near Dallas, this Texas Regional style custom home was designed by residential Texas architect Michael Lyons to evoke a casual, inviting feel. A gable helps emphasize the home’s entrance and the Dutch hip roof adds interest by breaking up the major roof planes. A dormer was added over the entry porch to house a copper carriage lantern. Other architectural details such as the Copper eyebrow vents, the copper bay window roof, the paired wood brackets and small circular window on the Dutch hip add charm to this custom home.
