Kitchenette

The Kitchenette is white and the spashback a stoney brown grey tile, therefore it was important to bring in some colour. This was achieved by something functional, namely a knife set.

Finishing Touches

For the Office Zone we chose a console table with matching bridging unit together with the Rake Dining Chair and 3 Black Pendant Lights to define the space.

We used Pendant Lights to separate the Bedroom Zone from the Office Zone.

Lighting to define shift from one zone to the next

Our client came to us wanting to build new walls to separate the loft space. We suggested using furniture to create zones to keep the open-plan airy feel, but still have dedicated spaces for kitchen / dining / sleeping / office and casual seating.

Defining Spaces

For the Casual Seating Zone we chose the Viva Armchair in Light Grey and Patchwork. The Radius Tray Table compliments this assemble perfectly.

Casual Seating

Lighting Creates mood. We needed bedside lights and the contemporary wire lights with filament bulbs have been trendy. They really do have their place.

Creating Moods

We used an existing bookcase as backdrop for the bed and as room divider. Being able to see over the unit makes the space feel large and open and light, even though we have defined spaces withing the open-plan loft.
