Space Creation
The brief for our second project with Joseph was a not so simple space planning exercise; find space where there is none!
The ‘half bedroom’ in his three and a half bedroom house was so small that you could barely squeeze in a desk to use it as an office. By removing the wardrobe that protruded into the room and reclaiming the dead space under the stairs the little office became a valuable double bedroom.
The master bedroom upstairs had raking ceilings and no storage, so we added a beam and sliding doors and custom storage.
We remodeled the bathroom. We carpeted and painted throughout, ready for the clients’ furniture and artwork.
