Preserving Character with Modern Upgrades

This bungalow renovation seamlessly blends traditional charm and modern aspects.
The kitchen boasts a new benchtop, bronze handles, a sink mixer, and cabinet fronts, complemented by a splash-back of textured glazed subway tiles and bronze button mosaics. Industrial-style light fittings add a contemporary edge.
The laundry is similarly upgraded to ensure a cohesive look. Enhanced door hardware adds to the traditional feel.
To visually elevate the space, a decorative dark blue wallpaper applied to the end of a hallway, creates the illusion of a shorter space.
The new en-suite – created by stealing some space from the large formal lounge - features traditional-look tiles, bronze tapware, and a bold black and white theme.
