Our restoration of a 1918 bungalow in Roosevelt neighborhood of Seattle included this new kitchen. We incorporated existing service porch into the space for new breakfast area with French doors opening to deck and backyard. Custom cabinets included island designed to resemble a work table with maple top. We carefully replicated historic doors, windows and trim details so they would be consistent with original designs. Modern appliances, fixtures and furnishings seem right at home in period house.
