"Spa" Shower: Marble/Teak

Walk-in Spa Shower has Italian & Greek marble, top to bottom Features include: Teak wood floor-matting & shower bench, multiple Hansgrohe fixtures, seamless glass shower door, triple recessed lighting, textured grab bar, & ceiling tiles. Marble walls. ceiling, & floors are from Italy & Greece, and in dark rich burgundy, white, olive & black colors. Lots of Teak wood accents throughout to bring the SPA experience to life.

Early stages of demolition. This was a full second bathroom. LG made the vanity area ALL a shower! HVAC above was removed to increase shower ceiling height. Tub was removed and new drainage was installed for shower to tub plumbing in left wall.

Master Bathroom marble shower wall - Italian burgundy with olive, black, and white veins. Greek Thassos white 18" marble above & below. LG arranged the tiles to match up veins where possible.

Even near the bottom of the shower, LG used select pieces of the Italian marble.

Shower ceiling was carefully cobbled together with Greek Thassos white marble squares. Getting all those flush was a challenge!

There's that Italian marble ceiling trim. The plumbing was next. Drilling starter holes for Hansgrohe fixtures was a delicate process with the reek Thassos White marble.

LG was meticulous in matching veins of the Italian marble to capture the dynamic coloring and build a feeling of continuous flow. Client made it clear that being in this shower daily or more, they had better "enjoy the view!"

Teak wood is associated with Spa environments LG built teak floor mats to cover the entire shower floor. This allowed dirty water to flow off the mat and drain without client having to stand in it. Also better traction

All edges & corners were smoothed and rounded. Once the teak oil was applied, the final SPA floor matting SHOWN A RICH TEAK COLOR.

The Greek white marble glistened when freshly cleaned weekly. The teak spa shower bench gave the client a place to sit, or rest their feet.

The teak floor mats were shaped to tightly fit the shower floor footprint, LG carpenters had to slope the boards to match the shower floor’s gradual drainage slope. There. are 3 pieces. They are easily raised for cleaning.

Viewer can see the shower behind the added tub wall and pocket door. All the teak trim reinforced the SPA feel throughout this master bathroom The tub is top of line JASON with several sets air & jacuzzi jets.

The best of the best were saved for the master shower wall opposite from the shower head for the client to enjoy each and every day. LG installed this row of tiles to "flow" away from the client's shower head and wrap around the enlarged stand-up shower.
