Properly supporting he top teak plywood meant adding 2 strips of teak veneer directly underneath. The support worked and the teak visual grew also. Teak is a softer wood and absorbs humidity & moisture well. Its warm and inviting to the touch as is the intended SPA FEEL.

Bracing the teak trim while the glue dried was a challenge. Where's there's a will, there's a way! The tiny nails helped but the glue helped keep the curves in tack.

teak ledge was a rich look and feel getting in and out of this glorious tub. The teak ledge was designed wide enough to hold many convenient objects.

Curves made so much sense to LG designer. The hard scape of the marble, glass, and bare wood, was visually softened by the curves and rounded edges. LG tucked this bend in the teak nicely into the back ledge, just out of the way of the sliding pocket door.

Front of the tub was positioned next to reclaimed seashell limestone sink from Provence. The Hansgrohe stainless steel faucet seemed too modern for the old-world components. So LG capped the stainless with interlocking pieces of Italian marble with spa;ash of dramatic colors.
