Utilizing straight lines along with a soft negative edge wall pulled this project altogether. What’s amazing about this backyard is the drop in slope with a huge Oak tree on the backside for everyone to see. Installing a vertical slate wall for the negative edge allows the water to ripple down the wall without splashing gives the view from below a spa-like feel. Working with the architecture of the home and incorporating elements from within the home gives this project a look of truly living outside. The fire-pit area completes the project giving the customer the perfect view of their backyard
