As you walk in the front door into the family room the view of the lake was the focal point, especially at sunset. The pool had to complement that view so the sandstone patio’s are located to the sides and lowered from the view from porch and home. Dry stack walls keep with the clean tailored lines of the home but add the natural setting. The Cabana was angled on the lower terrace and the gable profile allowed minimum impact on the view. The arbor was cantilevered off the cabana so to add no additional post and still provide shade for the bar stools. A full gourmet kitchen completes the heavy cedar timbered cabana. Floating stone pads connect the spa terraces without going up the stairs. The spa and vanishing edge dry stack boulder spillways provide a subtle water white noise. The pool wall provides additional seating around the fire pit. The automated fire features provide additional visual accent to the sun as it sets over the vanishing edge. It’s all about the view!
