This dramatic kitchen had modest beginnings. The original space was dark with only one window which was over the sink, modest non-descript cabinets and basic off white countertops and a small quirky island that didn't add much to the room (see the BEFORE picture). The new homeowners wanted more light in the kitchen and for the space to reflect their taste and sense of style. We totally reconfigured this kitchen adding the windows that flank the gas range for light. We brought the cabinets up to the ceiling and gave the homeowners display niches for their pottery collection. Two colors of granite are used and the new bar area and gorgeous center island round out this amazing transformation.
