The homeowner of this kitchen is an avid cook and preparing and cleaning up meals in the original kitchen of this circa 1926 house over time proved to be quite a challenge. The space was so small, there wasn't even room for the dishwasher which had to be moved around the space so she could work. It was also multi-purposed with a butcher block top. The couple came to Kitchen & Bath Design + Construction looking for smaller kitchen addition and powder room remodel. The resulting space abounds in light thanks to skylights and a slider to a new and enlarged deck. The shaker cabinets are in keeping with the style of the house and also reflect the homeowners taste while complementing the extensive collection of native American pottery. Soapstone countertops and induction cooktop round out this space that now has a place for everything, including the dishwasher.
