Built in 1964, the upstairs bath of this home looked like it was definitely stuck in a time warp and was blue, blue, and more blue: wall tile, toilet, and top mount sink along with laminate countertops. The space was in good condition but needed to be brought up to today’s style. The old vanity was replaced by gorgeous painted Maple cabinetry in a custom color from Benjamin Moore called “Mysterious”. Incorporating vibrant brushed gold fixtures and hardware really makes the color of the vanity pop. The wall-mounted faucet and mirror mounted lighting in the same gold continue with this trend of using warmer metal tones. The countertop, shower wall cap and thresholds are from Colorquartz in “Bianco Gioia”. The floor tile is rectified porcelain and ties in with the tile used in the shower for a cohesive look, adding movement to the space as well as making it appear larger than it is. From dated to dramatic, this bath holds timeless beauty.
