Art Deco Black & White Bathroom

Art Deco inspired black and white bathroom using an inexpensive photo mural for a "wow" effect. Replaced tub/shower with a walk in steam shower. Lowered the shower ceiling to accommodate plumbing because I moved the shower controls close to the shower entrance. An antimicrobial light was added in the shower to reduce mold build up.

I selected a black and white wall mural to add a WOW factor to the bathroom. The shapes of the windows in the skyscrapers matches the linear glass tile on the toilet wall.

I selected wall mounted toilet to provide more space in this 60" by 110" bathroom. The grey and white glass mosaic wall tile matches the shape of the skyscraper windows in the mural

This picture shows the space without the shower light on. The ceiling in the shower had to be dropped down to provide room for the plumbing. I tile on the face of the ceiling soffit to capture the moisture from the steam shower instead of making that soffit face drywall

I decided to use a pedestal sink and wall mounted toilet to gain more space. This is a guest bathroom that also features a steam shower.

When using a textured tile, always tricky when installing trim kits for controls as they can't be flush. Plumber needs to use more caulking during installation.
