Glass Door Ideas for Bathroom

Existing access to shower was from the water closet. By changing shower access, and moving tub provided more space. Adding a glass door to the toilet, fixed glass partition between shower and water closet and removing all the angled walls and soffits helped to enhance this grand bathroom

Before
The large tub was up against the shower wall. The existing shower had a glass block window to let the natural light in from the two corner windows. When I moved the tub to the other wall, allowing us to change the shower entrance to this side instead of where it was...one had to access the shower...

This view shows how I created better symmetry for his/her vanity areas. The 1/2 wall had been a full height wall which we opened up to help expend the entrance area - adding better viewing of the space upon entry.

This view shows the cathedral ceiling and how we extended the crown detail between the two wall cabinet towers. This creates a perfect break to end the wall tile. Lighting was added behind the crown.

The recessed open shelf is where a bump out was on the wall, that housed the flu for the old fireplace below this upstairs bath. This became great space to place the motor for the tub air jet motor. The lower shelf pulls out from the wall for easy access to the motor.

We replaced this tub with a more functional, smaller, under mount tub and moved the tub to the other window wall, allowing the room to create a new entrance into the shower

This picture shows the original access to the shower....from the toilet room! I replaced that access with a fixed glass partition and replaced the wood door with a glass door. This helped to make the toilet area bigger and brighter

The previous entrance to the shower was from the toilet area. To increase width of toilet area, and not make it feel cramped, I replaced shower door with glass fixed panel and changed shower entrance to other side.
