Waterfall Counter Top Design

By relocating appliances and adding cabinets to the ceiling provided the additional storage my Client needed. Adhering to her wish list of designing around her bar stools and adding a waterfall counter top for her island initiated the color scheme and design elements.

Client hated the dark counters, hated the maple cabinets. The kitchen did not work with the design style in her renovated great room.

White Stain On Walnut Veneer

By adding white glass for the black cabinets helped to connect with the white quartz counter top. I needed to design around Clients' existing bar stools for the island. We made the island counter top to have a double waterfall edge which also helped to enlarge the prep surface

Black Accents For A Modern Kitchen

We added dark tile around the window and used a black window shade. This coordinated with the upper black cabinets.

Chevron Mosaic Marble Tile

The existing cabinets did not have any storage in the corner because the DW was located right of the sink. My moving the DW to the left side of the sink, allowed room for me to add a blind corner cabinet with a pull out storage system from Hafele.

Maximizing storage was important, adding a two tier cutlery divider improved storage function.
