This bathroom remodel started as a repair; the bathroom had a leak and needed to be demolished and fully redesigned. The bathroom was a very small space; all the former design features were running into one another thus creating a crowded and cramped feeling. The clients used their damaged bathroom as an opportunity to create a space that would be more open and modern and meet their needs and personal aesthetic.

To create an illusion of more air and floor space, multiple design solutions were applied. The cabinets and toilet tank were recessed into the wall, the vanity is “floating” to provide more space underneath, and bright and reflective tiles were installed to create reflectivity and light. Additionally, the wall sconces were removed and ceiling pendants were added to remove clutter from the walls. A larger window was also added to create this bright, optimized and modern little bathroom.
