This project’s goal was to change the home’s design from dated to timeless. The design aimed to honor and preserved the historic charm of the home while also incorporating modern amenities and improving the flow space. While the project as a whole is wonderful, the details are what truly steal the show. Everything from the grand vaulted ceiling which really opened the space, to the “invisible” shower drain disguised into the tile pattern – each aspect was thoughtfully designed and expertly executed. The intention behind each detail no matter the scale, was to make the home work better while being beautiful.

The white kitchen gives an open and airy feel to what was previously a cramped, quite narrow space. Custom blue oven knobs play off of the cool toned accent pieces throughout the home. The kitchen island’s furniture legs allow the island to feel more like a piece of furniture and less like an anchored structure. The wooden block surface used on the higher portion of the island gives the space a feeling of warmth and hospitality.

The master suite was updated with a full bathroom and generous walk-in closet. The large marble framed mirror adds drama and depth to the master bathroom which is outfitted with a double vanity and walk-in shower. Amherst-Grey Shaker cabinets provide the room with ample storage and a serene color scheme, creating a lovely in-home oasis.
