This existing yard had a complete makeover to accommodate a more contemporary family. Some of the original front yard hardscape elements remain while the backyard has been completely updated with a modern edge. Mature trees were kept and a new hardscape and landscape were added. For the hardscape design; a hard-edged, rectilinear pool and spa with shear descent waterfalls, a unique sitting area with a tumbled glass, high-tech fire pit, Ipe main deck, and outdoor kitchen and bar accented with Ipe and modern concrete countertops for outdoor entertaining. Although the hardscape is edgy, the garden offers soft borders, lush greens, color accents, and vertical texture.
