As you walk down a gated, tree-lined gravel driveway towards this turn-of-the-century bungalow, there she stands: "Old Gloria," as we named her during the planning of this pastoral project. A magnificent giant coast redwood, she stands front and center to this quaint, peaceful landscape. I designed this project to show off her beauty and maintain the historical characteristics of the site, including other mature trees, shrubs and old brick patios. Hardscape areas were redesigned to reflect the rustic quality of days gone by.
