A woman with four grown sons was ready for a revived look in her home and wanted a more unified family room and kitchen. Granite countertops with a leather finish add warmth; a subway tile backsplash adds sparkle. The space is now fresh, timeless, and open to a lovely backyard blooming with fruit trees.
