This oft-travelling homeowner wanted to maintain the functional floor plan of his kitchen but wanted to update the 1980’s cabinets and fixtures and add a few upgrades. We gave him a beautiful entertaining area complete with clear glass doors to show off his glassware collection yet keep them dust-free. The laminate cabinets were replaced with semi-custom cabinets that were finished on top to provide a beautiful view even when looking down on the kitchen from the second floor loft. Laminate counters and a full backsplash give the kitchen a continuous look while the integrated sink gives maximum convenience and ease of cleaning. The kitchen floor was replaced with durable, maintenance-free laminate which continues through the high traffic hallway to the living room. The client achieved his still functional, yet now beautiful, kitchen with extras that make his time spent there carefree.
