2015 Lancaster Stone Farmhouse Kitchen
Our client’s main goal with this kitchen remodel was to update and beautify the kitchen in her over 200 year old stone house. After much planning, consideration and trial, the homeowner found that the overall lay-out of the existing kitchen worked well for her. The position of the sink and most of the appliances fit her cooking style. We removed the dated paneling, adding a lot more storage with larger, brighter custom cabinets and bringing in pops of color with red glass backsplash tile and orange walls. Quartz counters provide a durable, easy care work surface for the client’s frequent cooking and baking. Recessed lights, pendant lights and undercabinet lights controlled by the client’s smart phone will add abundant light to the room and work areas. The homeowner decided to keep the weathered wood floor, an homage to the home’s past.
