2014 Elizabethtown Bathroom
After many years in their home with a tiny master bathroom, our clients decided to put an addition on their house to expand their bathroom. We added a large, 8 foot tiled shower with multiple shower heads and a glass paneled, doorless entry. A custom L-shaped bench was built in the shower for seating comfort as well as storage. A slab front, dark birch double vanity with glass front counter cabinet and vessel sinks brought in the transitional style the homeowners sought. This was replicated on the opposite wall with a dressing table. Glass tile accents in the shower were carried over into the backsplash at the vanity and on the wall at the dressing table. Quartz in three different colors (one on the vanity top, one on the dressing table, and one on the wall/bench caps) brought depth and contrast to the horizontal surfaces. Floor heat installed underneath the tile insures that there won’t be any cold feet on chilly mornings. Soft purples used in the wall color and decorative pieces accent the grays in the fixtures and tiles, creating a welcoming space both homeowners can use.
