2013 Lancaster Bathroom

Our clients found their master bathroom, while a nice size, to be inadequately planned. The large, unused corner tub took up too much room while their closed in shower stall was much too cramped. We removed the corner tub and installed a beautiful freestanding tub. This change, along with eliminating the awkward window between the bedroom and bathroom, allowed us to enlarge the shower while giving it a more open feel with kneewalls instead of full height walls. The larger shower not only gave more room inside but allowed for a doorless enclosure. Removing the soffit above the vanity area opened the look of the room and also added valuable inches of storage space. Varying colors and textures of ceramic tile in the shower and on the floor, birch slab front cabinetry and clean lined fixtures lend themselves to the contemporary feel the homeowners sought.
