The primary pain point of this kitchen how dark, blah, boring, and depressing the original kitchen was with its brown and beige color scheme and heavy wood cabinets. The layout and flow of the workspace worked well enough so our designer did not have to make any major changes, just improve on the efficiency. The homeowners chose Ultracraft cabinetry in the Shaker door with Melted Brie paint on the perimeter and Pepper paint on the island. Mullion doors on high cabinets above the sink provide a place to display treasures out of the way, and 15.5" deep upper cabinets store plenty of kitchenware. Two-piece crown molding caps the cabinetry elegantly.
