The existing oak perimeter cabinets in this home were sturdy and in great shape, but the hardware was outdated, many hinges did not work properly, the laminate countertops were worn out, and the island had seen better days. Our designer assisted the homeowners in selecting new Amerock oil-rubbed bronze hardware and hinges for the cabinets, a new Kraus undermount sink and Moen faucet, and Typhoon Bordeaux granite countertops (inspired by the large island in our showroom that showcases the stone's gorgeous movement), and designed a new and more efficient island using Fabuwood cabinets in Fusion Dove. The warm, barely-off-white color coordinated beautifully with the toasty oak and the creamy tones in the granite. A corner appliance garage was also carefully removed to free up counter space.
