Litchfield, Transitional White Kitchen
This Litchfield home was built for these original homeowners in 2001. After nearly two decades, the kitchen was due for updating. Before, with the island, the layout felt cramped and inefficient. By moving appliance locations and adding a peninsula and storage solutions, their kitchen is now an open, beautiful, organized space. With tile that looks like slate and quartz counters resembling soapstone, we were able to give this family the look they wanted in more durable materials requiring less maintenance. They were excited to include a spice rack and a special place for their lunchboxes in their kitchen remodel. Additionally, they found a home for the dinnerware set that belonged to a beloved family member. After incorporating extra seating around the peninsula, their kitchen has become the gathering area when they entertain their friends and family.
