Bright & Spacious Kitchen for an Avid Cook

An outdated kitchen with inefficient traffic flow and inadequate appliances was transformed into a bright and warm space with upgraded appliances for an avid cook, ample storage and additional seating an prep space with a dark stained L-shaped island to contrast the white perimeter cabinets. A dramatic bead boarded barrel vault adds a drama above an arched window.

A dramatic change included rethinking an awkward partially-vaulted ceiling. The solution was to close in most of the vaulted area and create a dramatic barrel vault over the arched window. Dark stained walnut bead board draws the eye to this unique feature.
