The original master bath in this home was very traditional with heavy moldings and outdated materials. Typical of many master bathrooms it also had the requisite huge tub, which was never used. For the re-design and remodel, the homeowners wanted a cleaner, more sophisticated aesthetic along with a larger shower and additional storage space for clothing. The existing room was spacious to begin with and coupled with the existing architectural features of the ceiling and windows, the design and materials create an expansive feeling even with the additional storage.
