The goal of this project was to create terraces and spaces where our client could enjoy their very sloped backyard. The deck was lifted and rebuilt to allow more light into the home. The white ceiling helps to reflect light back into the windows while the fireplace frames a view of the lake beyond. Fifty-two comfortable granite steps link the home to the waterfront. Bluestone was used to create the main terrace while existing pavers from the site were repurposed to create the lower patio. The end result is an enjoyable yard as well as a beautiful sight from the water.
