The goal of this project was to take a narrow, unusable, wood deck and create a large, low maintenance and functional space. The end result is a large covered area with heaters for use throughout the seasons that leaves portions of the deck open for enjoyment on warm, sunny days. The lower space is also waterproofed to improve usability. Composite decking was used throughout to minimize maintenance.
