Modern Primary Bathroom Remodel
Walk-In Shower, Blue Tile Accent Wall & Custom Vanity
When this Doylestown couple returned to Custom Craft after their kitchen remodel, the goal was clear: bring their primary bathroom up to the same contemporary standard. A bulky drop-in tub they never used dominated the floor, blocked the window, and left the shower undersized. The finishes were dated and the layout wasn't working. They wanted a generous walk-in shower, a statement vanity, a dedicated makeup area, and a bathroom built for how they actually live.
Shower Design
Removing the tub gave the shower room to expand. Inside, a stained wood soffit wraps the ceiling and frames the rain head — a warm contrast to the marble-look porcelain tile on the walls. A built-in niche features a wood-look back panel and quartz sill, while a quartz bench tucks into the corner for a clean, functional finish.
Vanity & Accent Wall
The double vanity floats against a full wall of glossy blue ceramic subway tile, with two backlit mirrors above. Warm maple cabinetry paired with Silestone Ethereal Haze quartz holds its own against the bold backdrop without competing with it. A separate makeup area on the opposite wall gets its own cabinet, quartz surface, and mirror — giving each zone the space and function it needs.
