For this themed kitchen renovation, we incorporated some design elements from the Steampunk genre with a nautical twist. Think Jules Vernes’s ‘Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea’. The project features copper piping & trim, stained oak cabinetry, tongue & groove wood ceiling, and granite countertops. We also included numerous smart-house technology features (lighting, audio, & more) controlled by the built-in, touch screen computer above the sink.
