Francisco Residence

This new tropical Eco-residence to be located in southern Rincon was designed around few key elements: the amazing ocean view, direction of trade winds and a position in the existing terrain with tropical forest in the back. The final design consists of a central 2-story structure with a parabolic roof symbolizing a horizontal wave connecting the sea with the elongated pool interlocking the residence with two side wings. Simultaneously, a 60-feet long vertical wall clad with grey stone of a wavy pattern runs from the front of the house through the main open loft and the atrium along the pool to the back of the property-again-as a link connecting the sea with the residence. The future residence will run solely on solar power, and utilize rainwater as a secondary water source.
