The project involved combing 3 narrow Manhattan lots with different zones into one, and incorporating existing townhouse into a new high-rise structure. Clients desired to maximize the lot use while taking advantage of stunning Midtown views.
The result of this zoning puzzle was a 20-story residential tower housing floor-thru loft-style units with panoramic views. South and west facades were equipped with angled terraces with building-integrated solar balconies.
The project was never built due to the 2008 financial crisis.
