When one looks upon this kitchen, one feels like they are looking at the sky. The wall cabinets evoke fluffy white clouds; the floor cabinets the sky. Coming together seamlessly at the large floating island.

Many of the cabinets are open, airy, and decidedly earthy in their complexion. The hardwood floors, lighter than their earthy counterparts, bring a more woody texture and colour to the scene.

This is a relatively simple kitchen, but one that makes us feel comfortable and light and at home. As if standing near a forest and admiring all that’s above us.
