Like most bathrooms of this era, bulkheads were part of the landscape. As the vertical and horizontal bulkhead beside and above the vanity could not be eliminated. We treated it as a feature in the bathroom by selecting a different material, adding a ledge behind the vanity, and wall mounting the faucet. The shower went curb-less; textured, heated floor tiles, and grab bars were added in the shower area, all to eliminate tripping hazards.

The fixtures were done in a chrome and gold finish, all adding texture and interest to the bathroom. The ceiling hung lights were plated to match and the over-sized vessel sink added a modern touch. Once a dark and cramped bathroom, was transformed into a room filled with natural light.
