For years our clients lived with a cramped, uncomfortable and dysfunctional ensuite bathroom. The family bathroom, while functionally okay, was very dated. The homeowners decided to put their vacation time and gym memberships to good use by tackling both renovations at the same time, killing two birds with one stone.

Traffic and clutter was reduced in the ensuite washroom with a sliding pocket door. The extra space allowed us to move the tub into a more prominent and logical position, as well as extend the vanity to create both his and her stations. We used floor-to-ceiling glass panels to enclose the shower, and installed a trough drain on one side, creating a clean, functional and minimal feel throughout.

For the family bathroom, we maintained the basic layout but made everything new, modern and cool. A floating, oversized vanity goes wonderfully with the large, 24×24 concrete like tiles, while an extra long sink and drawer (as opposed to the typical door) storage allow for more practical and utilitarian day-to-day use and storage.
