This couple bought a cottage for location, not looks; in other words, it had to be gutted. The renovation took place when the clients were away for four months. When they returned to a new space – including a state-of-the-art kitchen with a statement chandelier, and a retreat-worthy bathroom – it brought tears to their eyes. Mission accomplished!
